In Q1 2024, MacuHealth faced a major challenge with counterfeit products.
Step 1: Test Purchases & Proof
We conducted test buys to confirm the products were counterfeit. While shipping times were long, the bigger challenge was Amazon’s slow response to removing the violators.
Step 2: Brand Registry Enforcement
We filed violation reports through Brand Registry. Despite submitting evidence repeatedly, Amazon support provided little resolution, creating a frustrating cycle of cases, emails, and back-and-forth responses.
Step 3: Amazon Transparency Program
After persistent efforts, we secured enrollment in Amazon’s Transparency program. This added layer of protection finally enabled us to block counterfeit sellers and secure MacuHealth’s listings in time for the critical Q4 2024 season.
